Music Vibes allows users to not only listen to music but to also experience it on a deeper level, utilizing haptic vibration technology prevalent since the iPhone 8. This innovative feature enables users to feel the frequencies of a melody through changes in vibration, creating a unique sensory experience. By placing the bottom of the phone on their jaw or the side of their head, users can physically feel the music, offering a captivating experience for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or simply curious about exploring music through vibrations.

Placing the device on a resonant surface like a hollow box allows users to hear the haptic vibrations reverberating within, further enhancing the tactile musical experience.
Users curious about how deaf individuals perceive music through vibrations can discover that bone conduction plays a vital role in such sensory experiences. Bone conduction was famously utilized by Ludwig van Beethoven when he composed music despite being almost completely deaf. By attaching a rod to his piano and clenching it in his teeth, Beethoven could detect sound through his jawbone as vibrations transmitted from the piano. This pioneering method showcased that sound can reach our auditory system via more than just the eardrums, exemplifying how bones can serve as an alternate medium for auditory perception, known as Bone Conduction.
